Booked an air duct cleaning and overall, they were very professional, punctual, and provided high-quality service.... However I just wish they paid more attention to our items to avoid getting hit with all of the dust and drywall from the cleaning. For example, they cleaned one air vent inside the master closet and rather than instruct us to move our clothes to avoid the dust, they just proceeded to clean. They quickly got to work and performed my cleaning. The whole thing took about 2.5 hours. It was a little noisy but that was too be expected. Mike and his crew where professional, hard working, and well trained. Explained the process step by step and reassured... me that my new homes duct work would thoroughly cleaned, sanitized and safe for my family. They cleaned up afterwards and even placed an oil pan under there truck to ensure my driveway would not be stained. Reasonably priced and worth every penny. Very impressed with Duct Doctor, they were working actively for over 3 hours. Many of the "Blow and GO" companies... stated they would be done in 45 minutes. This is the real deal in getting your duct work cleaned properly. They even vacuumed the areas where debris fell which wasn't much but still impressed at that level of detail for customer service. Don't be fooled by others (like I almost did), go to the site and see the video for yourself on what they do to setup and clean. Well worth it.read more

I called our local Duct Doctor in Virginia Beach, Virginia. We arranged an appointment for duct cleaning and... anti-microbial treatment. The agent/service specialist that arrived for the appointment was Glenn M. We were having a major repair and upgrade to our crawlspace and ducting system. When I described the project, he was patient, respectful, and calm. He inspected our system, and told me that the best choice would be to wait until the end of the project for his service (despite other confusing given information to the contrary). He remained willing to perform the service now, but wanted to provide "the best service and product possible." Even though he could lose this job for his company, he was completely honest, and waited patiently while I considered. I chose to follow his professional recommendation, and later rescheduled the treatment, specifically requesting Glenn. He arrived on time with an assistant. He explained the process, and answered every question I asked. He was quiet, efficient, thorough, very careful of my home's interior, and pleasant. I have written at length, because I rarely have an excellent experience like this anymore. I definitely recommend Duct Doctors, and sincerely hope your experience is similar to mine. Outstanding results: air seems a bit "crisper" - cleaner, with little to no dust accumulating on objects either during... the cleaning or thereafter; dryer definitely works much more efficiently - no sneezing thereafter, too! Those servicing were quick, clean, professional and thorough, though they would have missed one vent had I not identified its location (I recommended that I would review the vent locations; but, the supervisor declined - I hope that a review before service will be included as to improve confidence in thoroughness). Left dust and debris around. Didn’t reseal the air handler fully. Nice guys but not sure it was worth the high price... and disruption to the system. Minimal dirt removed after 20 years—I guess most is caught in the filters. Yesterday, I employed Howard Scher and his team in Baltimore to clean the 2 HVAC units in my house and an additional 2... units at my office. His team showed up exactly when they said they would be there. The team consisted of 3 young men who were polite, professional, educated in their field and did a terrific job of keeping our buildings spotless.
